CITRUS
Lemon
Lemons are oval citrus fruits with smooth porous skin. Some fruits have a pointed tip on the bottom of the fruit while other lemons are rounded at the base. Lemon fruits colour range from greenish yellow to bright yellow. In many cultivated varieties the branches have stout, stiff thorns
Mandarins
Mandarins are smaller and oblate, unlike the spherical common oranges (which are a mandarin–pomelo hybrid). The taste is considered sweeter and stronger than the common orange. A ripe mandarin is firm to slightly soft, heavy for its size, and pebbly-skinned.
GRAPEFRUIT
Grapefruit is a natural cross between pomelo and orange and its origin dates back to the 18th century. It is known for large fruit size, thick peel, and typical citrus fruit taste with bitter tinges, which is due to the high content of naringin, limonoids, and furanocoumarins.
Valencia
This is an attractive commercially grown orange tree that produces moderately sized, sweet, seedless and juicy fruit. Trees are high yielding from an early age but they do require frost protection.
Baladi
Egyptian Baladi Oranges are the most variety similar to Valencia orange which is used only for Juice and taste is the same with Valencia, but it's higher for Brix level.
Navel Orange
Navel oranges fit most people's description of an orange with a round shape and dimpled, bright orange skin. Their distinguishing feature is an indentation at one end that bears a resemblance to the human navel, thus their name. .
